Abstract:
To provide insulation-operation-rod compression pliers in which a sleeve can be easily and simply compressed by operation of one insulation operation rod.SOLUTION: Compression pliers 10 include: a pair of handles 11, 12; a pair of dies 13, 14 that are opened/closed by approaching/being separated from each other in accordance with approaching/separating movement of the handles; a fixation-side connection tool 15 that connects the one handle 11 to one grip arm 5 of a plyer 4 in a fixed manner; and a movable-side connection tool 20 that connects the other handle 12 to another grip arm 6 of the plyer 4 in a movable manner. The movable-side connection tool 20 includes a plier-side connection member and a plyer-side connection member. A long hole 21 is formed in one of the connection members. A sliding pin 22 that is slidably fitted into the long hole 21 is provided to the other connection member. Thus, the difference between approaching/separating movement of the grip arms 5, 6 of the plyer 4 and movement of the handles 11, 12 of the compression pliers 10 is absorbed by movement of the sliding pin 22 slidably fitted in the long hole 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
