Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for measuring the insulation resistance of a load apparatus of a cable way, one line of which is earthed, by means of a low-priced device without using any expensive zero-phase current device.
CONSTITUTION: Plural different resistance values R, R are inserted to be capable of being switched between the casing of a load apparatus Z and an earthing terminal G connected to cable ways 1, 2 to which a low-frequency signal is applied through an earthing line EL or the like and an earthing point E3 for the load apparatus. The insulation resistance of the load apparatus is computed from a low-frequency signal voltage value between the load apparatus earthing terminal G and the earthing cable way in the respective resistance values.
