Abstract:

To provide an insulation waterproof member and an insulation waterproof method capable of securing high waterproofness.

An insulation waterproof member for insulating and waterproofing a connection section of a cable comprises: a seal material for covering the connection section; and a protective sheet having an adhesive layer on a seal material side face and covering the connection section via the seal material. The protective sheet has a body section for covering the connection section; and an extension section extending in a first direction from the body section. The extension section can apply a pressure to the seal material covering the connection section and the body section in a first region on one end of the body section in a second direction crossing with the first direction, a second region on the other end of the body section, and a third region between the first region and the second region.
