Title:
INSULATOR PORCELAIN COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3680714
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insulator porcelain composition which can be calcined at a low temperature of ≤1,000°C and can be sintered with Ag or Cu and from which a sintered body having high Q value and low dielectric constant, suitable for high frequency use and having high coefficient of thermal expansion can be obtained.
SOLUTION: The insulator porcelain composition contains (A) at least one Mg3B2O6 ceramic powder and Mg2B2O5 ceramic powder and (B) glass powder containing 13 to 50 wt.% silicon oxide in terms of SiO2, 8 to 60 wt.% boron oxide in terms of B2O3, ≤20 wt.% aluminum oxide in terms of Al2O3 and 10 to 55 wt.% magnesium oxide in terms of MgO.
