Abstract:
To provide an insulin secretomotor and endothelin-1 production-suppressing agent that can safely be used in the fields of medicine, food and cosmetics without side-effect.
This insulin secretomotor and endothelin-1 production-suppressing substance includes a polymer that is prepared by polymerizing a monomer composition containing a monomer bearing phosphorylcholine-like group that is represented by formula (1) (X is a a divalent organic residue, Y is a 1-6C alkyleneoxy group, Z is H or the like, R1 is H or -CH3, R2, R3 and R4 are each H, a 1-6C alkyl group or the like, m is 0 or 1 and n is 1-4) as an active ingredient.
