Title:
INTAKE AIR AMOUNT CONTROL DEVICE FOR ENGINE IN VEHICLE WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0281939
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the generation of an engine stop, even when a brake is applied, further to enable the responsibility to be improved of an idle speed control in a creep running condition by suppressing a decrease amount of intake air in this condition in accordance with a car speed in that time.

CONSTITUTION: In a creep running condition at a car speed of about 3.5km/h, when a feedback control is performed of intake air amount, generation of an engine stall is considered due to the smallness of an absolute amount of intake air by a small amount of transmission load and due to the decrease of an engine speed itself to the vicinity of an idle target speed, and using the engine speed with only its change serving as the parameter, a feedback value of intake air amount control, acting essentially to a minus side, can be limited to a value considerably smaller than the essential value. In this way, the engine speed can be focused to the stable idle target speed.
