Abstract:

PURPOSE: To ensure the detection response until a temp.-sensitive resistor becomes the vicinity of usual control temp. and to control fuel well in response to a change in intake air flow by correcting response delay on the basis of the characteristics corresponding to the elapse time after the power supply of a temp.-sensitive flowmeter is turned ON.
CONSTITUTION: The output voltage Us of a temp.-sensitive flowmeter 1 is inputted to a microcomputer 4 through an A/D converter 3. The microcomputer 4 has an elapse time measuring means, a change quantity operation means, a coefficient variable setting means, an intake air flow correction output means or the like. The change quantity per a predetermined time of the detection value of the flowmeter 1 is operated and the value obtained by multiplying said change quantity by a predetermined coefficient is added to a this-time detection value to obtain a final detection value. Therefore, the value obtained by amplifying the detection value when the detection value changes is set to the final detection value to make it possible to correct the response delay of the detection value. Moreover, by variably setting the predetermined coefficient corresponding to the elapse time after the power supply of the flowmeter 1 is turned ON, response delay can be corrected on the basis of the characteristics corresponding to response characteristics changing with the elapse of time.
