To provide an inexpensive intake control device excellent in maintainability while enhancing the assembling properties of an opening sensor unit, a throttle valve return spring, and a drive member to a throttle body.
The throttle body 1 has an intake passage 2 bored therein, and a throttle valve 5 opening and closing the intake passage 2 cross the intake passage 2 and is attached to a throttle valve shaft 3 supported against the throttle body 1. The opening sensor unit U for detecting the opening of the throttle valve 5 is positioned on one side A of the throttle body 1 and the drive member 11 for driving the throttle valve shaft 3 is disposed in engagement with one end 3C of the throttle valve shaft 3 extending to the one side A through the opening sensor unit U. The throttle valve return spring 14 which gives the throttle valve 5 torque in closing direction surrounds the outer periphery of the throttle valve shaft 3 and is arranged between the opening sensor unit U and the drive member 11.
