Abstract:
To provide an intake control device capable of accurately regulating an intake amount even when providing a control valve in an intake passage at its portion having incompletely round sectional shape.SOLUTION: An intake control device 1 includes a body 3 having an intake passage 2 inside, and a valve element 4 arranged in the intake passage 2, the intake passage 2 including a direction continuing section 13 where a first long axis direction d1 and a second long axis direction d2 are approximately parallel to each other continuously from a downstream side opening 6 of the body 3, the body 3 including a seal flat surface 14 formed along a flat surface crossing part of the direction continuing section 13, the valve element 4 including a valve flat surface 15 formed by a flat surface abutting on the seal flat surface 14 for sliding via the valve flat surface 15 with the seal flat surface 14 to regulate the opening of the intake passage 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
