Title:
Intake control device
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6111983
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the leakage of cooling water from an intercooler and thus suppress the occurrence of water hammering resulting from the leaking cooling water.SOLUTION: The leakage of the cooling water from the intercooler is detected (S10-S30), and when the leakage of the cooling water is detected, a supercharging pressure is controlled to be higher than a cooling water pressure in the intercooler (S60-S110). When the supercharging pressure is controlled to be higher than the cooling water pressure in the intercooler, the leakage of the cooling water from the intercooler into an intake passage is suppressed to make it less possible for water hammering to occur due to the flow into a combustion chamber.
