Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent scattering of an air-fuel ratio by providing a means which controls an injection rate of fuel in a fuel injector provided upstream of a throttle valve may be large at the time of high speed load.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of high speed load at which a communication pas sage 13 is opened and an inner EGR is increased, respective fuel injectors 12 are controlled by a control means 16 so that an injection rate by the fuel injec tor 12 provided upstream of a throttle valve 6 may be larger than the injection rate by the fuel injector 12 downstream thereof. In the case the injection rate from the fuel injector 12 at the upstream side at which length of the passage between the fuel injector 12 and an intake port 3 is long, mixing of the fuel and air is improved. As a result, even if the communication passage 13 is opened, scattering of an air-fuel ratio is prevented.
