Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress moving of a throttle body in an intake device at collision time, and prevent damage of a delivery pipe, in a horizontally placed automobile engine.
SOLUTION: An intake manifold 9 is constituted by a synthetic resin, lightening of weight and reducing of a cost are attained. A connection part of a throttle body 8 and the intake manifold 9, by a pair of brackets 23, 30 arranged so as to spread in a truncated A shape toward a side of an engine main unit 1 as viewed by a side, is fixedly connected to the engine main unit 1, to be supported by providing high rigidity, and moving of the throttle body 8 at collision time is surely suppressed, to prevent damage of a delivery valve 7 by moving of the throttle body 8.
