Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an engine capable of uniformly dispersing water content and oil content accumulated in a lower part of a chamber, and introducing the same into each of cylinders of an engine with a simple constitution.SOLUTION: An intake device (18) has: a chamber (58) provided with an inflow port (60) for allowing intake air to flow in, and formed while enlarging a flow channel cross-sectional area from the inflow port; a throttle intake passage (64) extended upward from the chamber, and formed while decreasing its flow channel cross-section from the chamber; an enlarged intake passage (70) communicating an outlet of the throttle intake passage with a plurality of cylinders (2) of an engine, and formed while enlarging its flow channel cross-sectional from the throttle intake passage; and a suction passage (74) communicating a lower portion of the chamber with a downstream portion of the throttle intake passage. A connecting portion (92) of the suction passage and the throttle intake passage is provided with a plurality of openings (94) formed in the direction to enlarge the enlarged intake passage toward each of the cylinders.
