Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine intake system capable of enhancing the pressure detection precision of an intake pressure sensor 12.SOLUTION: In an engine intake system comprising: an intake pressure sensor 12 attached to a sensor fitting tube 14; an intake pressure introduction chamber 15 formed in the sensor fitting tube 14 and faced by the intake pressure sensor 12; and an intake pressure introduction port 16 formed at a deep end of the intake pressure introduction chamber 15 on the side of a throttle intake passage 1, the throttle intake passage 1 has a downstream side passage part 1e on the downstream side of a throttle valve 3, and the intake pressure introduction chamber 15 communicates with the downstream side passage part 1e via the intake pressure introduction port 16. The sensor fitting tube 14 is disposed on the intake downstream side of an injector fitting seat 13. As the sensor fitting tube 14 is viewed in parallel with its center axis 14a, the introduction pressure introduction port 16 in the deep end of the intake pressure introduction chamber 14 overlaps the downstream side passage part 1e in a communicating state.
