Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device of an engine which can obtain high inertia effects in both a first rotation number range of the engine and a second rotation number range which is higher than the first rotation number range in speed, and can supply ozone to the engine by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: In an intake passage 15 of an engine 10, a passage length L1 up to a sub-surge tank 42 from a flow-out end 33a of a main independent intake passage 33 is set so that an inertia effect becomes high when a rotation number of the engine 10 is within a prescribed first rotation number range, and a passage length L2 up to a main surge tank 32 from the flow-out end 33a of the main independent intake passage 33 is set so that the inertia effect becomes high when the rotation number of the engine is within a second rotation number range which is higher than the first rotation number range in speed. The intake device 15 of the engine 10 comprises an ozone supply part 44 which supplies ozone to only either of the main independent intake passage 33 and a sub-independent intake passage 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
