Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the charging efficiency of the intake air flowing into a combustion chamber and atomize the wall film current of fuel stuck and formed on an intake valve.
CONSTITUTION: The intake device of an internal combustion engine is provided with an intake passage 8 communicated to a combustion chamber 5 via an intake valve 4, a fuel injection valve 13 injecting fuel toward the umbrella section back face 14 of the intake valve 4, a guide member 11 slidingly guiding the stem section 12 of the intake valve 4, and an assist air nozzle hole 16 provided on the guide member 11 and feeding the assist air toward the umbrella section back face 14.
