PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance intake efficiency by providing an engine main body with long and short intake ports of two kinds, and thereby setting the spring constant of a lead valve for the short intake port to be greater than that of a lead valve for the long intake port. CONSTITUTION:An engine main body is provided with long and short intake ports 5 and 6 of two kinds. The spring constant of a lead valve for the short intake port 6 is set to be greater than that of a lead valve 4 for the long intake port 5. A closing valve 7 provided for the short intake port 6 is opened when revolutions are equal to or more than a specified one, fuel is fed through the long intake port at the time of low revolutions, and is fed through the short intake port at the time of high revolutions. Thus, the long and short inlet ports of two kinds are provided with the lead valves which can correspond to a low and a high revolution range, fuel will never interfere with flowing. Owing to this constitution, intake efficiency can be enhanced.
