Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system capable of inhibiting reduction of an increase effect of engine torque even when a longer resonator resonance tube is used.SOLUTION: An intake system 100 includes: a surge tank 10 for distributing intake air to each of intake ports 21-24; a resonance chamber 35 for amplifying intake pulsation in the surge tank 10; and a resonance tube 33 for communicating the surge tank 10 and the resonance chamber 35 with each other. The resonance tube 33 includes: a plurality of groove portions 31 provided on an inner surface 33a of the resonance tube 33 in the intake air flowing direction (air column vibration direction) to reduce viscosity resistance; and a plurality of groove portions 32a and 32b for reducing viscosity resistance, which are provided in portions of the inner surface 33a at one end 1a connected to the surge tank 10 and the other end 1b connected to the resonance chamber 35 of the resonance tube 33 to continue to the groove portions 31 in the intake air flowing direction and each of which has a groove width W2 equal to or wider than a groove width W1 of the groove portion 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
