Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake manifold having an actuator for a tube length switching valve, for allowing easy positioning of the actuator relative to the intake manifold and reducing vibration to be imparted.SOLUTION: A valve cover 20 is mounted at the cross end of an intake manifold 10, and an auxiliary plate 56 is fixed to the other end face of the valve cover 20 together with an actuator 22 by a second fastening bolt 52. The auxiliary plate 56 is curve-shaped in cross section to abut on the other side face of a flange part 14 while encircling the actuator 22 at the outsides of first and second storage parts 44, 46. The auxiliary plate 56 is jointly fastened to the actuator 22 and fixed to the valve cover 20 by the second fastening bolt 52, and positioned by the front ends of a base part 60 and a third arm part 66 abutting on a peripheral wall part 28 of the valve cover 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
