Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake pipe unit having a compact air intake pipe not influenced by deformation of a mixture gas intake pipe and a laminar scavenging engine including the intake pipe unit.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an intake pipe unit [16] connected between a cylinder block [12] of a laminar scavenging engine [10] and a carburetor [14]. The intake pipe unit [16] has a mixture gas intake pipe [30] and an air intake pipe [32] for air for scavenging action. Each of the mixture gas intake pipe [30] and the air intake pipe [32] has wall portions [36, 38] opposing to each other and shape complementary at inlet end portions [30a, 32a] connected to the carburetor [14]. A clearance space [40] is arranged between a wall portion [36] of the mixture gas intake pipe [30] and a wall portion [38] of the air intake pipe [32].SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
