Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve low speed torque while preventing imperfect combustion and the degradation of high speed performance accompanying the torque by providing a reed valve in an intake path of a 4-valve engine.
CONSTITUTION: In a 4-cycle engine provided on the way of an intake path with a reed valve 19, a bypass 25 affording communication between the intake path 11 upstream of the reed valve 19 and the intake path 11 downstream of the reed valve 19 is formed, and a switch valve 28 is provided in the bypass path 25.
