Abstract:
This intake structure of an internal combustion engine comprises an intake manifold which is connected to the intake port openings formed in the cylinder heads of the internal combustion engine and which extends in the alignment direction in which the intake port openings are arranged. The intake structure is provided with an exhaust recirculation valve which is arranged on one side, either above or below, the intake manifold, and which is connected to the intake manifold from said one side, and a throttle valve which is arranged on the other side, above or below, the intake manifold, and is connected to the intake manifold from said other side. The exhaust recirculation valve and the throttle valve are arranged having a region of overlap in the vertical direction in normal view perpendicular to the arrangement direction.
