Abstract:
To provide a suction structure for a vehicle suction device, which is able to prevent foreign matter flying not only from a vehicle traveling direction but also from a vehicle width direction from entering a suction inlet and, thereby, is able to improve an engine performance.SOLUTION: A suction duct 30 extends in a vehicle width direction. In one-end part, in a vehicle width direction, of the suction duct 30, a suction inlet 30A for taking in air from inside of an engine room is opening toward a one-end side in the vehicle width direction. The one-end part, in the vehicle width direction of the suction duct 30 is provided with: a first shield wall 71 disposed in the front of the suction inlet 30A; and a second shield wall 72 extending rearward from the other-end part, in the vehicle width direction, of the first shield wall 71 and disposed opposite, in the vehicle width direction, the suction inlet 30A. Using the first shield wall 71 and the second shield wall 72, an air introducing space 70 through which air sucked into the suction inlet 30A passes is defined behind the first shield wall 71 and between the second shield wall 72 and the suction inlet 30A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
