Abstract:
To provide an intake system of an engine with a supercharger, in which while an intermediate passage connecting the supercharger with an intercooler is compactly formed, sound radiation occurring from the intermediate passage is reduced.SOLUTION: A gas discharge port 34c in a supercharger 34 and a gas introduction port 36d in an intercooler 36 are both opened toward the opposite side to the outside face 10a on one side of an engine body and are connected with each other via a second passage 35 working as an intermediate passage. At a middle position in the second passage 35, a narrow part 35c is provided, in which the flow passage cross sectional area at the position is reduced smaller than the flow passage cross sectional area in a portion leading from the position to the downstream end of the second passage 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
