Abstract:
To provide an intake system capable of stabilizing combustion in a cylinder at cold start.SOLUTION: An intake system 1 includes: a small diameter resonance tube 32 for communicating a resonance chamber 31 and a surge tank 2; a large diameter resonance tube 33 for communicating the resonance chamber 31 and the surge tank 2 and having a tube diameter larger than that of the small diameter resonance tube 32; a first control valve 34 for opening/closing the small diameter resonance tube 32; and a second control valve 35 for opening/closing the large diameter resonance tube 33. The intake system 1 is configured so that when a temperature of a catalyst 62 in an exhaust pipe 6 is less than a temperature threshold value, the large diameter resonance tube 33 is opened by the second control valve 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
