To provide an intake unit of air conditioner for car in which a filter can be extracted and inserted without interfering with an obstacle such as car components and other on-vehicle equipment so as to increase the degree of freedom of on-vehicle layout and also the filter can be inserted easily.
In an intake unit, a detaching and attaching port 37 for extracting and inserting a filter 36 which is formed in roughly rectangular shape is provided successively in two faces 35F and 35L of a case body 35 adjacent to each other. Also the filter 36 is extracted and inserted through the detaching and attaching port 37 at an inclined attitude B in which it is inclined along the direction in parallel with an air flow in and out surface though, after the mounting of it in a specified position is completed, the mounting position becomes an mounting completion attituble A.
