Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the speed change shock by relating the control in reducing the variation rate through the lapse of time of the hydraulic pressure supplied into the frictional engaging device of an automatic transmission with the control in completing the variation of the engine torque. CONSTITUTION:An automatic speed change gear B is equipped with a frictional engaging device with which the engagement release can be selectively switched by the control of a hydraulic controller C according to the operation state of a car. and a plurality of speed change stages are obtained by selection- controlling the engagement of the frictional engaging device. The torque of an engine A is varied by a torque varying means D in synchronization with the speed change control. In this case, a change control means E which changes and controls the variation through the lapse of time of the hydraulic pressure supplied into the frictional engaging device is provided. Therefore, the control in varying the variation rate through the lapse of time in the reduction direction by the change control means E and the control in completing the variation of the engine torque by a completion control means F are related each other.
