Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a local write-in driver circuit for reducing the power consumption.
SOLUTION: The local write-in driver circuit for an integrated circuit device memory array requires only one write-in enable-signal for coupling complementary data signals between a global write-in data line and a local write-in data line, the circuit does not require to supply the complementary write-in enable- signal as conventional embodiment. A die region of on-chip required for a signal path is reduced by unnecesitating to supply a second complementary write-in enable-signal, and power consumption also is reduced due to the fact that lines to be switched during a write-in cycle is less by one line.
