Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the test and evaluation of an IC, by reading a program stored in an IC for electronic calculator in an accurate and quick way with addition of a circuit that can read diectly the contents of the program out of an external terminal. CONSTITUTION:A timing producer 2 and an address register 4 are provided to an IC for electronic calculator, and the data given from an address data input terminal 16 is set to the register 4. This data is decoded by an address decoder 5, and the address of an ROM6 is selected. At the same time, the status signal is produced with the outputs of test input terminals 17 and 18 and then applied to the register 4 and an ROM data register 8 to be fed to a control circuit 10 which is controlled by a program of the ROM6. On the other hand, the arithmetic output supplied from the circuit 10 is applied to a display register 14 via a logic circuit which forms a data selecting circuit. Then the program stored in an IC for electronic calculatoris read out in an accurate and quick way. In such a way, the test and evaluation can be simplified for an IC.
