Title:
ECHO CANCELLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3187716
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo canceller capable of preventing the occurrence of erroneous adaptation by avoiding stopping the operation of an echo estimating circuit and delaying a converging speed.
SOLUTION: On an acoustic side, a speech receiving signal judging circuit judges a true speech receiving signal or a line side residual signal leading to erroneous adaptation. When the received signal is judged to be the line side residual signal leading to erroneous adaptation, a transfer judging circuit 22 does not judge that estimation is satisfactory, and an FG side pseudo echo line 21 does not set the tap coefficient of a BG side pseudo echo line 24 to be a new tap coefficient. On the other hand, on a line side, the speech signal judging circuit is a true speech transmitting signal or an acoustic side residual signal leading to erroneous adaptation. When the transmission signal is judged to be the line side residual signal leading to erroneous adaptation, the transfer judging circuit 22 does not judge that estimation is satisfactory, and the FG side pseudo echo line 21 does not set the tap coefficient of the BG side pseudo echo line 24 to be a new tap coefficient.
