Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated scanning optical unit capable of efficiently cooling a circuit board on which a driving circuit driving a light source and a light-receiving part is mounted.SOLUTION: An image reading part 102 of an image forming apparatus 100 comprises a scanner cover part 201 including a contact glass 203, a scanner frame part 202, an integrated scanning optical unit 301 stored in the scanner frame part 202, a guide rod 302 as the moving means of the integrated scanning optical unit 301, a rail 303, or the like. The integrated scanning optical unit 301 comprises a light source 401, a reflection mirror 402, an image formation lens 403, a housing 404, and a circuit board 405 which is arranged outside the housing 404 and on which an image sensor 407 and an IC chip 408 are mounted. A flow path F through which an air flow passes is formed between the circuit board 405 and housing 404. The bottom edge of the board surface 405a of the circuit board 405 is projected from the housing 404.
