Title:
INTEGRATED SOLAR CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3685525
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the output power by employing a compact insulating paste thereby increasing the electric resistance and decreasing the leak current.
SOLUTION: The integrated solar cell is applied with an insulating paste 3 to the border of power generation cell 2 divided at a laser scribe part 1. The insulating paste 3 is produced by dispersing a binder into an insulating powder. The border of adjacent power generation cells 2 is insulated by the insulating paste 3 where the binder is hardened. The grain size of insulating powder being dispersed into the insulating paste 3 is selected such that the hardened insulating paste has electric resistance of 3 MΩ or above. For example, the hardened insulating paste 3 has surface roughness in the range of 1-5μm, mean grain size in the range of 1-15μm and maximum grain size in the range of 2-20μm.
