Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a gap between a display value or storage value and an actual value of integrated travel distance in a configuration where some predetermined digit on the high-order side of digits of the integrated travel distance of a mobile entity is rewritten from volatile storage means to nonvolatile storage means when the value is updated, and the residual digits are rewritten from the volatile storage means to the nonvolatile storage means on condition that the supply from a second power supply is available when a first power supply is cut off.SOLUTION: An integrated travel distance is read from a nonvolatile storage device 6 into a volatile storage device 3 when IG power supply is turned on, and a storage value of the volatile storage device 3 is updated on the basis of a signal of a vehicle speed sensor 12 while power is supplied from the IG power supply. Some predetermined digit (target digit) on the high-order side of digits of the integrated travel distance is rewritten from the volatile storage device 3 to the nonvolatile storage device 6 when updated, and the residual digits are rewritten when the IG power supply is cut off. When the supply from a +B power supply is available, the target digit is set to a digit of 1 km or greater, and when the supply from the +B power supply is unavailable, the target digit is set to a digit of 0.1 km or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
