Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated type safety monitoring and alarming system.
SOLUTION: According to this system, a fireman can be monitored by a variety of safety during fire fighting through audible means 18a, 18b and/or visible means 16. This system comprises monitoring the pressure 26 of the breathing of the fireman, and the ambient temperature 42 and the motion 46 of the fireman. In order to show a possible emergency state related to low residual air time 22, 26, 36, 12, impending thermal breakthrough 42, 44, 12, and lack of movement of fireman 46, 12, audible alarms 18a and 18b are outputted.
