PURPOSE: To make effective use of a plurality of fire robots by using a control panel, in the event of a fire, for specifying the fire robot which is to extinguish the fire, and then issuing a command for movement so that the fire robot is moved to near the fire source.
CONSTITUTION: When a fire receiver 44 receives fire information (fire signal) from a fire detector 45, a fire source is determined based on the fire signal, and position information is outputted to a control panel 41. The control panel 41 specifies a fire robot (fire-extinguishing robot) 10 that is to extinguish the fire. At the same time, a fixed fire-extinction transfer point 32a where fire- extinguishing action is to be performed is designated as that 32 which is on the robot station 31 side of the fixed transfer point 32a corresponding to the warning detector nearest to the robot station 31. Next, information about the fire source, information about the fixed fire-extinction transfer point 32a, and a command for movement are transmitted on radio waves to the controller of the fire-extinguishing robot 10 through a transceiver 43. Based on the information, the controller moves the fire-extinguishing robot 10 to the fixed transfer point 32a.
