Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a ground intensity in accordance with the scale of an external force or reaction force by using a suction action against an external force acting on the foundation of a building immersed in water.
SOLUTION: In an increasing method of a head difference H between the water level 3 of the ocean out of the foundation and the water face 4 of a water reservoir 2 in the foundation and the strength of the foundation ground 5 of a building immersed in water due to the permeation stream 16 in the foundation ground 5, the magnitude of an external force acting on the structure is detected. Based on the detected figure, the displacement capacity is increased in displacement equipment opened to the water reservoir 2 and the water pressure in the foundation is decreased and the pore pressure in the foundation ground 5 is decreased to increase the ground intensity.
