Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intra-marrow inter-rotor bone fracture fixing device for performing the operation of locking a neck screw provided with a device for preventing it from being loosened or moved during the operation.
SOLUTION: This inter-rotor bone fracture fixing instrument is provided with an intramedullary rod (intramedullary nail) 1 provided with an inclined opening 2 for receiving a thigh part neck screw 5 provided with a screw thread 6 on one end to be screwed to a bone fracture part to be treated. The rod 1 is provided with a coaxial hole 3 passed to the inclined opening 2 and is provided with rotation stopping means 4 and 7 installed inside the rod 1 and operated so as to inhibit the rotation of the neck screw 5 and adjustable means 4 and 7a operatable at an optional longitudinal direction position within a predetermined range on the neck screw 5 for selecting the position within the predetermined range so as to permit unidirectional relative sliding between the rod 1 and the screw 5 while pressing a bone piece to the opposite side of the bone fracture and while inhibiting the rotation of the neck screw 5 by the operation of the rotation stopping means 4.
