Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle damper device for improving ride comfort of a vehicle by reducing roll vibration of a vehicle body and suppressing influence to the vehicle body bending vibration in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: An inter-vehicle damper device that is provided between a first railway vehicle 10 and a second railway vehicle 20 coupled to the first railway vehicle and has a damper 30 for generating damping force depending on relative roll speed between a vehicle body of the first railway vehicle and a vehicle body of the second railway vehicle is configured to include: damper characteristic change means for changing a damping force characteristic of the damper; vibration severe state determination means 43, 44, 60, 70 for determining whether or not the state is a predetermined roll vibration severe state in which roll vibration increases; and damper control means 50 for increasing the damping force of the damper by the damper characteristic change means when the vibration severe state determination means determines that the state is the roll vibration severe state.
