Then, the F/C permission condition is determined by actual driving by a driver, variously changing relative speeds, obtaining an inter-vehicle distance when the operation of a speed reducing means is started (time of turning accelerator OFF), and based on a relation between the inter-vehicle distance and the relative speeds. Thus, by performing inter-vehicle control according the execution permission determination result based on the determination condition assuming that a relatively fast reaction physical amount is used, a vehicle behavior more coincided with the feeling of the driver is realized, and a driving feeling is improved.
