Title:
INTERACTIVE TOY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000254360
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make a toy react to an action to the toy with voice and realize an affluent feeling expression by providing a detecting means for detecting external stimulus, converting it to an electric signal and outputting it, and outputting the acoustic data memorized in a memory part based on the electric signal from this detecting means.

The body of a toy such as stuffed toy is provided with a sound detecting circuit 2 for detecting sound as an external stimulus, a voice generating circuit 3, a vibration detecting circuit 4, a motion detecting circuit 5, and a microcomputer 6 for controlling these. A sound detecting signal detected by the sound detecting circuit 2 is converted into an electric signal and inputted in a control circuit 61, and the next action step is obtained from ROM 63 based on the electric signal inputted here and is transmitted to a sound processing circuit 70, and a voice is generated from the voice generating circuit 3. A signal of a vibration given to the toy by playing with the toy and detected by the vibration detecting circuit 4 is inputted into the control circuit 61, and a new word is generated for each step based on the counted frequency.
