Title:
INTERCEPTOR FOR FISHES AND SHELLFISHES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0376521
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a leaking phenomenon from occurring in an electric field due to a voltage applied to both electrodes and form a barrier excellent in electric power efficiency by arranging a covering electrode opposite to a subaqueous electrode so as to cover the subaqueous electrode.

CONSTITUTION: A subaqueous electrode 2 is arranged in an intercepting part for intercepting migration of fishes and shellfishes 7 in the water bottom 1. A covering electrode 3 is then provided so as to cover the aforementioned subaqueous electrode 2. Respective different electric potentials are applied across both electrodes 2 and 3 from a power source 6. As a result, an electric field is formed only across both electrodes 2 and 3 and a barrier excellent in electric power efficiency can be formed without causing a leaking phenomenon of the electric field.
