Abstract:
To provide a camera and an interchangeable lens using a technology to determine the safety of information stored in advance in a storage medium in the interchangeable lens.SOLUTION: An interchangeable lens comprises: storage means that stores an arithmetic expression for calculating a driving time required for driving means to drive a driven member at a desired driving speed by a desired driving amount; receiving means that receives combination information in which the value of at least one of the driving speed and the driving amount is different; prediction means that predicts the driving time; and transmission means that transmits the driving time predicted by the prediction means to a camera body as lens-side determination data with which whether lens data is correctly stored in the storage means can be determined on the camera body side. Every time the receiving means receives the combination information, the prediction means applies information included in the received combination information to the arithmetic expression to perform prediction calculation. Every time the prediction calculation is performed, the transmission means transmits the predicted driving time to the camera body as the lens-side determination data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
