PURPOSE: To simplify a connecting process as well as to improve the extent of joining accuracy, horizontal bearing force or the like in addition to workability and efficiency, and make a sharp reduction in a construction period achievable.
CONSTITUTION: Two narrow connecting ends 1a formed in the end of a precast beam 1 are brought into contact with each other opposingly, and a U-shaped steel plate 3 is fitted in both these connecting ends 1a from the downside and clamped with plural pieces of long bolts 5 for connection. Grout (g) is filled up in a gap between these connecting ends, and a fireproofing coating is applied to the outside of the U-shaped steel plate 3 and the long bolt 5. In this case, after a half part of the U-shaped steel plate 3 is fitted in one side of the connecting ends 1a from the downside, it may be done that the other side of the connecting ends 1a is fitted in the other half part of the U-shaped steel plate 3 from the upside and clamped by these plural pieces of bolts 5 for connection.
