Abstract:
To provide an abnormality detection device of an intercooler which can appropriately detect deterioration of efficiency of the intercooler.
An abnormality detection device of an intercooler 12 which is employed with respect to an intercooler 1 situated from a compressor 8 to an intake manifold 2 in an intake passage 3, detects the deterioration of efficiency of the intercooler 12 by taking a condition of high boost pressure as a precondition and comparing outlet side intake temperature of the intercooler 12 with a threshold value.
