Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance manufacturing efficiency of an interdental brush having the constitution that a wire does not easily slip out by forming a brush by twisting a wire after a filament is sandwiched in the wire in the interdental brush, arranging a wire inserting hole of the brush in a handle to carry this brush, and fixing the wire to its inserting hole.
SOLUTION: The brush 1 of an interdental brush is formed by twisting a wire 3 after a filament 4 is sandwiched between the half bent wire and a calking part 3a is formed in an optional place of a part to be embedded in a handle 2 in a base end part of this wire 3. A sunk part of such a wire 3 to the handle 2 is inserted into an inserting hole 1a of the handle 2 by high-frequency heating, and at this time, since the handle 2 is molded by synthetic resin, a peripheral wall of the inserting hole 1a is melted by the heated wire 3, and the wire 3 is densely fixed. In this case, since a part of a spiral is deformed by the calking part 3a, regularity is eliminated, and the wire 3 does not rotate, and slipping-out is effectively prevented.
