To cause no difference between the state of a fire receiver for each object and the state of the each object recognized by a support center by positively transmitting data desired to be transmitted without intercepting information received by a server side when the data transmission from an interface apparatus to the server side is not completely done in the interface apparatus connecting, through a network, the fire receiver installed for every object to the server.

The interface apparatus involves: receiving an alarm transfer signal from the fire receiver; converting the input alarm transfer signal into data for output; transmitting, through the network, the outputted data to the server; detecting the interruption of the data transmission from a transmission means; outputting an interruption signal indicating that the data transmission from the transmission means is interrupted; retaining the data during data transmission based on the interruption output while the transmission means transmits the data; and re-transmitting the retained data after stopping the output of the interruption signal.
