Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for inserting/removing an interface card of a printed circuit board tester which is capable of inserting/removing the interface card efficiently for a short time, without needing any special drive source. SOLUTION: The printed circuit board tester tests a printed circuit board 1 after mounting the printed circuit board 1 having a plurality of connectors in a rack 3 and inserting a plurality of interface cads 6 in the rack 3 to connect the cards to the connectors of the board 1. A means 7 is provided for moving a shuttle 8 perpendicularly to the inserting/removing direction of the cards 6 toward an interface card inserting/removing hole 3d of the rack 3, thereby inserting/removing the cards 6 into/from the circuit board 1 one after another. No great force is needed for inserting/removing the card 6 into/from the connector 2 of the board 1. Thus inserting/removing the interface card 1 can be made efficiently for a short time, without needing any special drive source.
