Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface controller which can be connected to a connector without crossing wirings even if it is arranged on any face on a control board and to provide an optical disk device using the controller.
SOLUTION: An interface controller 60 has a switch circuit 64 used by arranging it between a connector 62 and an inner circuit 63, which are mounted on a control board 61. The functional terminal array of the connector 62 is previously decided by standardized interface specification. The switch circuit 64 changes over the array order of the functions which a second terminal 66 has to that similar to the array order of the terminals in the connector 62, which correspond to them, or to the opposite array order in accordance with a switch signal.
