Abstract:

To provide a method of avoiding the interference (collision) of a plurality of robots.

Two robots 1, 2 store a mutually-overlapping area of their work areas as a shared area B. The two robots 1, 2 mutually communicate with each other to interchange information on mutual present positions and stop positions when brakes are applied at the present positions. The respective robots 1, 2 are braked to stop and enter a state of entering the shared area when they determine that the stop position in braking at the present position enters the shared area, and when the other robot is located in the shared area or the stop position in braking is the shared area.
