Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve classification of an isobar of the specific charge (hereinafter, referred to interference nuclide) interfering with the analysis of a purpose nuclide in AMS, without requiring an additional classification device represented by GFM in a low acceleration voltage accelerator.SOLUTION: In an interference nuclide classification method by accelerator mass spectrometry for ionizing a substance to be measured negatively by an ion source, accelerating the ions by means of an accelerator, and classifying a substance by energy with a classification device, the interference nuclide and a target nuclide are classified by causing coherent resonance excitation in at least any one of the target nuclide and interference nuclide of the ions.
